Prior Authorizations Supervisor – Pain Interventions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of prior authorization and reimbursement support for pain intervention therapies.

• Mentor, develop, and evaluate team performance to meet service, quality, and productivity goals.

• Keep track of payer requirements, coverage policies, and authorization procedures to facilitate prompt patient access.

• Address intricate reimbursement, coverage, and escalation challenges with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders.

• Examine operational metrics and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with reimbursement, sales, clinical, and patient access teams to tackle coverage and payment obstacles.

• Create and present training on prior authorization workflows, payer requirements, and reimbursement protocols.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, payer guidelines, and relevant healthcare regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience OR Associate's Degree and 3+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of supervisory experience OR 3+ years of customer service experience.

• Background in customer service, patient access, reimbursement support, prior authorization, or healthcare operations.

• Proven experience in leading, supervising, coaching, or directing the work of employees or teams.

• Familiarity with healthcare payers, insurance verification, authorization procedures, or reimbursement activities.

• Proficient in customer service systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment.

• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
