Prior Authorization Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assemble, nurture, and guide teams of leaders and individual contributors.

• Assist employees and manage daily operational delivery for assigned accounts.

• Develop and oversee regular practices while leveraging tools and reports to enhance team performance.

• Provide training and continuous coaching to foster employee engagement and uphold client satisfaction.

• Build and maintain relationships with account leaders and business partners.

• Discover and implement opportunities to enhance operational products, services, and capabilities.

• Collaborate with employees and operational leaders to meet Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Promote accountability and efficiency by adhering to standard operating procedures.

• Eliminate barriers and advocate for change.

• Identify and supervise existing and potential business risks.

• Execute mitigation strategies to boost performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of people management experience in the healthcare sector.

• Background in quality assurance to support accurate utilization decisions based on nationally recognized guidelines.

• At least two years of Medicaid experience in Prior Authorization/Utilization Review is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.

• Familiarity with software applications for managing back-office operations is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication along with strong interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record in implementing and executing strategic initiatives, particularly concerning operating policies, procedures, and improvements in operational processes.
