Principal Vascular Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular product line.

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams in the areas of peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula therapies.

• Assist sales representatives by providing coverage for critical cases and offering technical guidance on the safe and effective use of products.

• Educate clients through personalized training sessions, in-service programs, case assistance, and participation in conferences.

• Work together with sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to implement district business strategies and drive revenue growth.

• Offer prompt technical and procedural assistance for urgent customer requirements and complex cases.

• Foster relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers to enhance therapy utilization.

• Assess customer needs, resolve objections, and relay market feedback and product insights.

• Oversee inventory performance by conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, providing consignment support, and optimizing product availability.

• Organize product launches, inventory transitions, and field initiatives.

• Assist in inventory management, collection of purchase orders, training initiatives, and other operational tasks.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 11 years of work experience, or an associate's degree with at least 9 years, or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years.

• Experience in healthcare, field sales, or working with complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device sector.

• Strong project management abilities along with experience in coordinating programs.

• Capability to manage and engage in multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced setting while adhering to deadlines.

• Must reside within the designated territory.

• Willingness to travel to various customer accounts within the region up to 50% of the time.

• Valid driver's license, active insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards are required.

• Flexibility to work and/or travel outside of standard business hours, including occasional evening and weekend coverage.

• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 lbs. with both hands.

• Capability to sit, stand, and walk for over 8 hours daily, and regularly bend, stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Ability to work in clinical settings with exposure to eye hazards, infectious diseases, and radiation.

• Capacity to wear 7–9 lbs. of lead for extended durations.

• Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices.

• Vision capabilities necessary to support patient care and field-related responsibilities.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment for roles below the Principal level; this Principal-level position may be eligible for U.S. sponsorship per stated policy.
