Principal Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for clients' acquired or outsourced technology and business process solutions.

• Assist clients with initial access, data mapping and transfer, process documentation, as well as user training or coordination of training.

• Diagnose and resolve complex client issues.

• Offer technical support and guidance to financial institutions and Implementation Service Consultants in developing integrations into the nCino/Force.com platform.

• Collaboratively lead third-party integrations into the nCino platform employing suitable technical solutions.

• Record integration processes, procedures, and testing requirements in documentation.

• Provide Salesforce solution and integration development throughout the phases of requirements gathering, functional specifications, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Assess vendor API and interface specifications.

• Convert customer requirements into actionable implementation plans.

• Design Salesforce solutions that cater to customer needs.

• Monitor time and bill hours for customer projects.

• Support sales and sales engineering teams during technical prospect calls.

• Utilize AI/ML for developing integration frameworks, designing solutions, automating systems, and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Advocate for responsible AI usage in cloud solutions, DevOps, and Salesforce architecture.

• Identify opportunities for scalable and secure AI integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience/proficiency with a bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's/Advanced degree; or equivalent work experience (as applicable).

• Capability to design, construct, articulate, and defend architectural designs, primarily focused on integrations, including basic UI components and designs.

• Proficient in supporting a DevOps process and constructing solutions using various software development methodologies.

• Ability to apply engineering principles to code, flow, and integration patterns utilizing both on- and off-platform tools.

• Competence in documenting intricate solutions and customer-facing documentation.

• Salesforce Dev401 certification is required.

• Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced understanding of data management, SQL, and RDBMS technologies.

• Experience with ETL/integration platforms.

• Background in Financial Services is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com developer toolkit IDE, Migration Tool, and Web Services.

• Exposure to Salesforce.com configuration and custom development is beneficial.

• Excellent grasp of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, with prior experience in object-oriented programming languages.
