Principal Teamcenter Deployment Admin / Container Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and deploy Teamcenter/PLM environments, which includes installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and overseeing the lifecycle of environments across Development, Testing, and Production.

• Create and sustain containerized deployment strategies, utilizing Docker/OCI images.

• Provide support for runtime operations within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to automate build processes, testing, security scanning, and deployment.

• Operate and diagnose issues within Red Hat Linux-based infrastructures that support PLM deployments.

• Oversee system services, storage, networking essentials, and automation processes.

• Execute monitoring, logging, backup/restore coordination, incident triage, performance optimization, and documentation tasks.

• Collaborate with software teams to design, implement, secure, and manage Teamcenter environments.

• Assist in PLM Solutions projects related to AI, DevOps, and Architecture Deployment domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science; 3 years with a Master’s; or 1 year with a PhD.

• Proven experience in administering and deploying Teamcenter (PLM) environments.

• Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration within a deployment and operations setting.

• Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software delivery, including build, release, and deployment automation.

• Knowledge of containerization concepts and workflows, including image building, registries, and runtime configurations.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for positions requiring government clearance and some restricted positions.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Clearance type: Secret.
