This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
β’ Design, test, implement, and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions to support the programs and business operations of the Department of the Interior.
β’ Construct and modify Model-Driven Apps utilizing Microsoft Dataverse.
β’ Set up Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, forms, views, business process flows, and data-quality controls.
β’ Develop and sustain secure external-facing interfaces using Microsoft Power Pages.
β’ Create and manage Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visual representations.
β’ Develop Power Automate cloud flows for submissions, document routing, notifications, approvals, compliance activities, and various business processes.
β’ Facilitate integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, and authorized external systems.
β’ Adhere to application lifecycle management best practices for source control, solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.
β’ Work in conjunction with product owners, business analysts, architects, senior developers, and users to convert business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
β’ Engage in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, peer reviews, demonstrations, testing, and release activities.
β’ Diagnose defects, enhance application and report performance, and offer production support.
β’ Produce configuration documentation, technical procedures, release notes, and knowledge-transfer materials.
β’ Implement federal security, privacy, records-management, accessibility, and governance standards.
β’ Contribute reusable components and promote consistent Power Platform development methodologies.
β’ Over 3 years of professional experience in developing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
β’ More than 2 years of experience in building Model-Driven Apps and configuring solutions on Microsoft Dataverse.
β’ Practical experience in developing or supporting Power Pages sites.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in creating Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, or visualizations.
β’ Hands-on experience with Power Automate cloud flows and automating business processes.
β’ Familiarity with integrating Power Platform applications with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, or external systems.
β’ Experience utilizing solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, and deployment processes within a team setting.
β’ Proven experience working within an Agile delivery team and interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Capability to function in a regulated or process-oriented environment.
β’ Knowledge of Model-Driven Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft Power Pages, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Power Platform ALM and governance, Git-based source control, CI/CD, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, custom connectors, and integration troubleshooting.
β’ Federal agency clearance requirements may be applicable, which could include a background investigation lasting up to 10 years and/or US Citizenship (clearable) for certain positions.
