This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.
• Provide high-priority technical leadership to Docker’s most significant customers.
• Expedite customers’ journeys in containers and AI, with a focus on developer workflows.
• Identify customer technical and business objectives alongside their challenges.
• Develop and oversee engagement plans that encompass current products and new Docker solutions.
• Supervise design-partner rapid prototyping initiatives involving engineering and customer teams.
• Create, manage, and present tailored demos and content that align with customer use cases.
• Deliver enablement and best-practice materials to a wide range of audiences, from developers to C-level executives.
• Travel as a senior Docker representative to engage with prospective clients, customers, and technical alliance partners.
• Provide thought leadership for a designated regional or functional area.
• Collect feedback from customers and pre-/post-sales teams in the field.
• Collaborate with the Field CTO and Solutions Architects to prioritize field requests for product and engineering teams.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to align workflows and features based on revenue impact.
• Act as customer zero for new Docker functionalities.
• Offer insights on technical enablement requirements and review enablement materials.
• Assist in internal technical enablement for new products and services within the sales enablement team.
• Learn and utilize Salesforce, Outreach, Sigma, and Opine.
• Support the sales and customer success teams.
• Educate clients about the product roadmap and provide product training.
• Enhance messaging, processes, and activities while working independently.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise settings.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience in managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
• Skilled in presenting solutions and demonstrations to diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person.
• Familiarity with interfacing with technical support, product, and engineering teams.
• Experience in application code development.
• Understanding of the daily challenges faced by developers.
• Aptitude for solving technical issues and converting customer experiences into actionable engineering feedback.
• Experience creating customer best-practice adoption materials.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
• Preference for candidates with experience in Docker, container ecosystems, or related technologies.
• Strong preference for experience in Development, Agentic AI development, Software Development Lifecycle, and/or Software Supply Chain Security.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the application is submitted.
• Docker does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
