This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the comprehensive design and architecture of SAP EWM solutions that adhere to SAP S/4HANA best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
• Serve as the global design authority for inbound logistics, outbound logistics, inventory management, internal warehouse movements, and physical inventory.
• Promote fit-to-standard principles, reducing customization while enhancing the adoption of SAP standard functionalities.
• Establish and govern global versus local warehouse process requirements for scalable deployments across multiple countries.
• Provide architectural guidance across warehouse automation, material handling equipment (MHE), robotics, RF solutions, barcode technologies, and external logistics platforms.
• Challenge stakeholders regarding legacy processes, operational inefficiencies, and requests for non-standard solutions.
• Foster process harmonization and warehouse standardization throughout manufacturing, distribution, and fulfillment networks.
• Ensure that warehouse solutions enhance operational performance, customer service, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
• Lead solution design workshops and facilitate decision-making among global and regional stakeholder groups.
• Convert business requirements with systems integrator partners into scalable functional and technical solutions for S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with IT and architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and integrate adjacent applications including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Metapack, Exotec, and Blue Yonder.
• Over 10 years of experience in delivering warehouse management and supply chain execution solutions, with a strong emphasis on SAP EWM.
• Extensive experience in leading SAP EWM implementations, transformations, and operational support engagements within complex environments.
• In-depth understanding of end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and returns management.
• Strong practical and solution design expertise in deploying SAP EWM and integrating it with other systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse automation technologies, including MHE integration, conveyors, sortation systems, ASRS, robotics, and warehouse control systems.
• Experience in designing and supporting RF solutions, mobile warehouse execution, and barcode-enabled processes.
• Proven track record in supporting multi-country and multi-site warehouse deployments.
• Strong grasp of warehouse operational KPIs, inventory accuracy, productivity measurement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated capability to lead senior stakeholders, challenge requirements, govern systems integrators, and make architectural decisions in complex settings.
• Experience in managing distributed global teams, offshore delivery resources, and intricate vendor relationships.
