This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay, +1 more country.
• Assist in pre-sales efforts for Sabre’s airline portfolio, which encompasses Offer Management, Order Management, Dynamic Pricing, Ancillary Retailing, and airline modernization projects.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales Engineering - Retailing.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, product management, and delivery teams on strategic global initiatives.
• Conduct discovery workshops, solution design, respond to RFPs, deliver demonstrations, articulate business value, and create executive presentations.
• Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies and assist with significant airline transformation initiatives.
• Manage multiple opportunities and competing deadlines across various global time zones.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership during sales pursuits.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Design effective solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery and implementation kickoff.
• Collaborate with product management to align sales engineering expertise with offerings and value propositions.
• Monitor sales engineering metrics, analyze data, and enhance performance in the Americas.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressively senior leadership experience.
• Practical experience in Pricing & Revenue Management and related fields.
• Familiarity with either Sabre or competing solutions in this domain.
• In-depth understanding of the aviation market landscape.
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape in Airline IT, including key trends, opportunities, and challenges in modern retailing.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sale engagements at the C-level.
• Proven capacity to influence cross-functional teams within a global matrix organization.
• Strong ability to foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Professional demeanor and sound business acumen.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills that are articulate and persuasive.
• Ability to operate with considerable autonomy and resourcefulness to navigate challenges and achieve objectives.
• Travel may exceed 50% during peak customer engagement periods.
