This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and execute intricate project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for large or multiple high-complexity projects.
• Assess the necessity and implications of project scope changes, implementing recommendations as needed.
• Achieve stakeholder agreement, approval, and consensus regarding various project elements.
• Identify suitable resources and staff for project assignments.
• Organize project teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of deadlines, roles, and objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact with client project management.
• Recognize staffing changes or requirements as projects evolve.
• Oversee costs, schedules, and quality by managing project deliverables.
• Ensure that schedules and budgets are adhered to and adjust plans as necessary.
• Supervise project status reviews, identify potential risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to foresee and manage technical, business, and scheduling changes.
• Assess when additional resources are required and take appropriate action.
• Collect information on potential solutions that may generate additional or unique project objectives or outcomes.
• Manage expectations for clients, company management, and project teams using project metrics.
• Suggest and execute changes or alternative strategies based on performance and metrics.
• Create and present proposals that could lead to expanded business opportunities.
• Engage in proposal efforts and sales discussions.
• Balance client expectations with company needs effectively.
• Supervise assigned project personnel, delegate tasks, and provide guidance.
• Address performance challenges within established guidelines and offer performance feedback upon project completion.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of twelve years of experience in project planning and management.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Catalyst, including budget formulation, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software, and financial and accounting concepts and practices.
• Proficient in productivity and methodology tools that enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Experience with administrative processes.
• Understanding of client vision, business goals, and key success factors.
• Knowledge of delivery assurance principles and relevant procedures.
• Experience with techniques and strategies related to the architecture, development, integration, and execution of project phases.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with team members and clients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and during the initial week of orientation.
