Principal IT Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and advocate for architectural standards across all enterprise technologies, guaranteeing optimal performance, security, and compliance within SaaS and cloud-based environments.

• Design, govern, and secure the modern workplace infrastructure.

• Utilize API-first governance and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) for platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.

• Integrate workplace tools into a unified, secure ecosystem instead of managing them in isolated environments.

• Spearhead the design of advanced networking and data security frameworks using Meraki Networking, Fortinet Firewalls, and network monitoring systems.

• Act as a technical authority in creating the architectural foundation for SaaS, AI, and enterprise application strategies.

• Oversee the implementation of complex, scalable systems that support a rapidly growing environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in architecting infrastructure for rapidly growing, security-oriented technology companies.

• More than 8 years of experience in designing 'Identity-as-the-Perimeter' architectures and intricate iPaaS integrations at scale.

• Significant hands-on experience in corporate systems design, emphasizing cloud-native and SaaS-first strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing core infrastructure that allows business units to deploy tools through secure access protocols and identity governance.

• Expertise in programming languages and API-first integration strategies for enterprise applications.

• Proven history of implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within a global organization.

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting protocols, and knowledge transfer.

• Familiarity with designing infrastructure to facilitate enterprise adoption of Generative AI platforms and development tools.

• Proven ability to offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members during project execution.

• Background in mitigating technical debt by ensuring interoperability between infrastructure designs and comprehensive security strategies.
