This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee cultural resources initiatives, pursue business development prospects, and autonomously manage archaeological and historical resource projects.
β’ Lead field research and organize, supervise, and direct field teams.
β’ Drive the technical and strategic aspects of proposal creation, encompassing scope, timeline, and budget.
β’ Collaborate with clients and company colleagues on regional project development.
β’ Assist with invoicing, personnel management, and financial tracking.
β’ Act as the principal investigator for research, archaeological field surveys, monitoring, testing, data recovery, historical research, preservation efforts, report production, site documentation, and artifact management.
β’ Manage project mobilization and demobilization processes.
β’ Support compliance with Section 106 and Section 110 of the NHPA through analysis, technical studies, and permitting for private, federal, state, and local government clients, as well as tribal entities.
β’ Develop resources for regional staff.
β’ Mentor and provide technical and operational support to staff and project managers; oversee cultural staff.
β’ Fulfill project scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
β’ Ensure the production of high-quality technical deliverables through independent and quality review protocols.
β’ Engage and coordinate with clients, agency representatives, and Tribal representatives.
β’ Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
β’ At least five (5) years of supervisory experience; ideally ten (10) years in progressively responsible cultural resource roles, including management and/or teaching experience in the desert southwest and intermountain west regions, with exposure to architectural historians.
β’ Proficient in using or familiar with modern GPS technology and capable of utilizing it in remote areas.
β’ Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capacity to work effectively on multiple tasks as part of a team.
β’ Proven excellent verbal and written communication, professional writing, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in project planning, development, and management.
β’ Capability to work independently under general supervision.
β’ Proficient in the MS Office suite.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Must successfully pass pre-employment and post-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
β’ Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
β’ Must be eligible for employment in the US.
β’ Preferred: Licensed or capable of obtaining licenses in TX or across the Midwest.
β’ Preferred: Experience and ability across the continental US in providing cultural resources support.
β’ Preferred: Registered Professional Archaeologist.
