Principal, Field Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical advisor for key global accounts, identifying intricate microcontamination issues and providing customized solutions.

• Conduct high-level technical evaluations, customer workshops, and strategic conversations.

• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing to shape product development trajectories.

• Design and execute advanced application strategies to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and enhance market penetration.

• Offer expert-level training and guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Write and present technical papers at industry conferences.

• Mentor and coach Field Application Engineers.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to global best practices frameworks.

• Keep abreast of competitive intelligence and share insights with various business units.

• Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives that require advanced technical expertise.

• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and corporate standards.

• Report to the Senior Manager of Field Applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

• Experience in field applications engineering or technical support within the high-tech or semiconductor sectors.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex technical engagements and influencing product development.

• Familiarity with gas microcontamination control technologies, such as purification and filtration systems.

• Extensive technical knowledge in microcontamination control and associated high-tech applications.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills coupled with a strategic mindset.

• Capability to manage global projects and travel internationally as needed.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
