Principal Experience Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead designer for Datavail's design services and Design Sprint projects.

• Organize and conduct user research initiatives.

• Create maps of current and future-state customer journeys.

• Develop and prototype innovative solutions.

• Evaluate solutions through user testing.

• Lead discovery workshops and Design Sprints utilizing Datavail's DRIVE workshop framework.

• Assist in training others to effectively implement the DRIVE workshop framework.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to manage the backlog.

• Confirm usability and business results in a production environment.

• Uphold the practice's design methodologies and templates.

• Operate as an individual contributor.

• Ensure 100% billable hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in experience design.

• Comprehensive UX and UI design experience for both web and mobile platforms.

• Proficient in user research and conducting moderated usability testing.

• Skilled in developing journey maps, service blueprints, and user personas.

• Experience in facilitating Design Sprint sessions and workshops.

• Prototyping capabilities in Figma and coding.

• Familiarity with working within established design systems.

• Experience in usability measurement using SUS and UMUX-Lite.

• Confident in presenting to client executives.

• A background in consulting or agency work is preferred.
