Principal Enterprise Strategist – Services Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a segment-wide advocate for transformative technologies such as cloud-native platforms, automation, and AI/ML.

• Create white papers, develop reusable intellectual property including frameworks and templates, and deliver presentations to external audiences.

• Offer non-billable advisory oversight throughout the execution of multi-practice solutions to maintain architectural integrity and ensure alignment with desired outcomes.

• Facilitate high-level workshops and technology visioning sessions across multiple practices.

• Provide strategic consulting to clients, converting business goals into technology strategies and actionable roadmaps.

• Steer long-term IT transformation initiatives, guaranteeing scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business objectives.

• Recognize opportunities early by identifying emerging technical trends.

• Direct financial impact modeling to support the launch of new products, services, and initiatives adjacent to partners.

• Collaborate with Digital Infrastructure, Digital Velocity, Managed Services, and the Global Security Strategy Office (GSSO).

• Assist in scaling solutions and planning transitions in collaboration with R&D and delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required along with 10+ years of experience OR 14+ years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience in designing multi-practice solutions for complex customer environments.

• Strong knowledge of CDW’s offerings, including Cloud, applications, data, security, modern infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS technologies, and AI.

• Demonstrated ability to influence business and IT leaders at the executive level.

• Track record of success in developing and delivering enterprise technology roadmaps and digital transformation strategies.

• Certifications in multiple disciplines (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are advantageous.

• Experience in industry-specific architecture (healthcare, financial services, manufacturing) is a plus.

• Strategic thinking with the capability to translate vision into executable strategies is a plus.

• Executive presence coupled with excellent communication skills is a plus.

• Expertise across integrated technology solutions spanning multiple domains is a plus.

• Ability to innovate and adapt in fast-paced environments is a plus.

• Collaborative leadership skills across sales, engineering, and delivery teams is a plus.

• A focus on outcome-driven, measurable business impact is a plus.
