Principal Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead and participate in the technical components of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs.

• Act as a public-facing technical authority for Akamai at industry events, conferences, and webinars.

• Interact with public sector clients to comprehend their mission-critical requirements.

• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams.

• Represent Akamai as a thought leader in cloud security, edge computing, and web application protection.

• Drive the development of technical solutions by integrating Akamai's offerings to fulfill public sector mission needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15 years of relevant experience in technical architecture.

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.

• Extensive experience in the public sector.

• In-depth knowledge of federal and defense missions.

• Proven track record in contributing to and drafting technical proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses.

• Strong technical presentation skills with experience addressing audiences at industry events and webinars.

• Capability to establish trusted relationships with government clients and technology partners.

• Proficiency in navigating uncertainty, taking ownership of challenges, and driving results in complex situations.

• Willingness to question the status quo and innovate to provide solutions.
