Principal Engineering Manager, EMEA

📋 Description

• Guide a team of engineers by providing clear direction, context, and constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop solutions from the initial stages.

• Take ownership of the project, ensuring delivery from problem identification to execution.

• Promote predictable execution through strategic planning, realistic expectations, and transparency regarding progress and risks.

• Uphold a high standard for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Contribute to wider engineering enhancements through experience, collaboration, and effective leadership.

• Oversee a pivotal engineering domain and elevate standards for product development and delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience leading engineering teams in a product-focused organization.

• Proven history of delivering intricate products or systems in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfort in engaging in both technical and product-related discussions.

• Strong ownership mentality with the capability to clarify ambiguous situations.

• Experience working closely with Product and Design teams.

• Excellent communication skills and a practical, results-driven approach to leadership.

• Proficient in PHP (Symfony), Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, scalable data processing, and distributed architectures.

• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, containerized environments, cloud-native services, and contemporary observability tools.

• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD processes, code reviews, continuous delivery, and A/B testing.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and coding assistants to enhance software development workflows, including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality.

• Resume submitted in English is required.
