Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a sprint team of software engineers, focusing on both personnel management and project delivery.

• Supervise integration specialists responsible for developing and maintaining connections to client ERP and business applications.

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap, ensuring the delivery, quality, and operational efficiency of Fastpath Access Governance services.

• Lead the integration of Fastpath Access Governance features into the Delinea Platform.

• Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience, and Architecture teams within a Scrum framework to refine requirements, propose technical solutions, and influence architectural choices.

• Promote the use of AI coding assistants, design tools, and test automation practices.

• Set standards for AI-enhanced engineering processes.

• Foster a team culture that encourages high-quality output and professional development.

• Report directly to the Engineering Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience leading Agile engineering teams.

• Proven history of successful project delivery and team development.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in .NET/C# or similar backend technologies.

• Advanced technical skills and experience in making architectural decisions for distributed systems.

• Experience in developing and managing cloud-native services on Azure or AWS at scale.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proficient in utilizing AI coding assistants, AI design tools, and AI-driven test automation.

• Experience in identity governance, access management, or security software is advantageous.

• Familiarity with segregation of duties, access certification, or audit and compliance workflows is a plus.

• Knowledge of building or integrating with ERP, HCM, or CRM systems is a plus.

• Experience with APIs and permission models for Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or Salesforce is a plus.

• Experience managing third-party integrations at scale is a plus.

• Proven experience in scaling engineering teams within a rapidly growing SaaS or enterprise software environment is a plus.

• Experience in establishing AI-first engineering methodologies is a plus.

• Depth of knowledge in .NET, Kubernetes, and Azure is a plus.

• Must not require any form of US work authorization now or in the future.
