Principal Engineer, Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess the technical feasibility and evaluation of products in alignment with business requirements.

• Provide technical guidance during design finalization, code reviews, and the resolution of production support and maintenance challenges.

• Spearhead the design and implementation of essential software components and systems.

• Mentor and support the technical growth of team members.

• Contribute to the establishment of coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement the technical roadmap.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to foster technical innovation.

• Take ownership of the design, development, enhancement, release, deployment, and maintenance of complex applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, Swift, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.

• Strong expertise in various technologies and database platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud-based development tools and methodologies.

• Experience in designing critical applications that interface with several internal and external systems.

• In-depth understanding of software development processes in a distributed team setting.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to mentor technical team members.

• Architecture-level cloud or product certifications are preferred.
