This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design reusable, scalable, and enterprise-agnostic data models along with solution architectures that support the enterprise medallion architecture.
• Create data models, solution blueprints, reference patterns, and design specifications for engineering and product teams.
• Convert architectural direction into practical, production-ready designs that adhere to enterprise standards.
• Take ownership of the medallion architecture design and structure data for reuse across various use cases.
• Define transformation logic, data relationships, semantics, and criteria for readiness.
• Refactor custom, raw solutions onto the centralized, agnostic Silver model.
• Utilize AI and automation to expedite modeling, design, and documentation processes.
• Develop and reuse accelerators, templates, and design patterns.
• Incorporate human-in-the-loop checkpoints for governance, security, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure accurate implementation and governed CI/CD promotion to production.
• Integrate data and digital product solutions onto shared, reusable resources.
• Validate engineered datasets, data products, and integrated solutions against architectural designs.
• Establish technical patterns and standards for data and solution architecture.
• Mentor engineers and analysts on modeling, architecture, and reusable design methodologies.
• Contribute to the centralized repository of reusable models, patterns, and components.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Data & Digital Product Solution Architecture.
• Extensive, hands-on experience as a data architect and/or solution architect within a complex enterprise data environment.
• In-depth expertise in medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), reusable data modeling, and enterprise-agnostic data design.
• Proven capability to translate architectural direction into tangible, buildable data models and solution designs.
• Strong practical experience in refactoring custom solutions into reusable, production-ready assets.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated code evaluation, and controlled promotion to production.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation to enhance modeling and design, while maintaining quality and governance.
• Excellent technical communication and mentorship abilities.
• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed when working from home.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprises is preferred.
