Principal Data Intelligence Analyst – Pharmacy Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for pharmacy clients, operational leaders, pharmacists, clinicians, and various end users.

• Drive client engagement, facilitate discovery sessions, and conduct consensus-building activities to identify pharmacy reporting and analytics needs.

• Convert pharmacy workflows, operational challenges, and business inquiries into precise data, reporting, and analytics requirements.

• Enhance pharmacy operations through the analysis of medication utilization, dispensing, inventory, formulary management, medication access, clinical services, financial performance, quality, and efficiency metrics.

• Oversee strategic pharmacy analytics and reporting projects from initial concept through to requirements documentation, development, testing, deployment, training, and ongoing support.

• Collaborate with report developers, data engineers, IT teams, pharmacy leaders, and other cross-functional partners to provide reliable and effective solutions.

• Ensure quality assurance, data validation, reconciliation, issue investigation, and end-user support for pharmacy reports and dashboards.

• Utilize data from both internal and external sources to analyze intricate pharmacy and operational issues and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding pharmacy reporting systems, tools, workflows, and performance metrics.

• Mentor colleagues and display leadership on complex initiatives when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in pharmacy analytics, pharmacy operations, healthcare analytics, business analysis, data analysis, client support, or a related field.

• Proven experience in supporting pharmacy clients, pharmacy leaders, pharmacists, clinicians, or healthcare operations teams.

• Strong comprehension of pharmacy workflows, processes, performance metrics, and operational challenges.

• Experience in facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, performance-improvement initiatives, reporting projects, or quantitative analyses.

• Demonstrated capability to manage the complete analytics delivery lifecycle, which includes business and clinical understanding, requirements documentation, data analysis, testing, deployment, training, and end-user support.

• Ability to communicate effectively with pharmacy stakeholders and bridge the gap between business needs and technical specifications.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

• Technical experience with SQL, Python, artificial intelligence, and Epic Willow is advantageous.

• A PharmD, master’s degree, pharmacy informatics experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.
