Principal Consultant – Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops.

• Establish and manage customer expectations effectively.

• Direct technical project teams to provide consulting services.

• Oversee objectives, gather requirements, manage project tasks, milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines.

• Ensure successful delivery of engagements on schedule and in alignment with business goals.

• Deconstruct complex problems and formulate project approaches.

• Perform final edits and authorize project deliverables.

• Present final deliverables to client executive management.

• Assist in business development efforts through client discovery sessions.

• Represent service offerings throughout sales processes, including scoping, proposal creation, and presentations.

• Cultivate customer relationships and deliver technical solutions to C-level executives.

• Advance and refine AHEAD Advisory consulting and deployment offerings.

• Serve as a technology thought leader and advocate.

• Stay informed about current and emerging IT trends, technologies, and standards.

• Provide mentorship to team members.

• Manage client engagements and serve as the liaison between clients and delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level consulting experience.

• At least 15 years of experience as a senior information technology leader managing transformative modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, or agile-at-scale implementation.

• Strong grasp of business measurement frameworks, such as OKRs.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles.

• Minimum of 8+ years of executive technology consulting experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven business acumen.

• Capacity to address complex, abstract issues.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse personalities.

• Executive presence.

• Proven track record as a technology change agent.
