This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +2 more countries.
• Direct and act as the main liaison for comprehensive data review processes conducted on clinical trials.
• Ensure that clinical data science outputs are delivered punctually, maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Act as the central point of communication for both internal and external team members concerning clinical data review tasks.
• Oversee data review procedures to guarantee the provision of data suitable for analysis.
• Contribute insights into the development of clinical systems and activities related to clinical risk management.
• Manage and track the timing of clinical data science operations throughout the lifecycle of studies.
• Engage in audits conducted by sponsors and/or third parties.
• Anticipate budget, staffing, and resource needs for clinical data review tasks.
• Conduct analytical assessments focusing on errors that may impact subject safety or the interpretation of final analyses.
• Create planning documents pertaining to data review, data analytics, and data deliverables.
• Formulate strategies and guide resources to fulfill operational and strategic objectives.
• Travel approximately 15% both domestically and internationally.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical data management within a clinical research organization or pharmaceutical firm.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical research organization (CRO).
• Familiarity with all phases of the data science lifecycle and the majority of significant data science study tasks.
• Proficiency in at least one Clinical Data Management system is essential (e.g., Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical, OCRDC, UX EDC).
• Strong project management capabilities, with a background in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and timelines.
• Background in Data Analytics and Data Validation.
• Established experience as a Mentor and/or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• A combination of education, training, and relevant experience that is equivalent may be considered in lieu of the stated education and experience.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English as well as the language of the host country is required for all employees.
