Principal BI Analyst

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic leadership across the enterprise/division regarding data visualization and the development of analytic reports.

• Oversee and support the team's application of best practices in visualization development.

• Offer development and consulting services to users of data visualization throughout the organization.

• Lead the establishment, upkeep, and communication of standards for data visualization governance and development.

• Act as the principal architect and thought leader for analytic solutions based on data visualization.

• Evaluate intricate business challenges or opportunities and create comprehensive specifications.

• Serve as a technical resource for team members concerning system-related issues, work processes, and protocols.

• Conduct discovery and fact-finding missions to comprehend and execute tasks effectively.

• Recognize, convey, and apply best practices.

• Collaborate with Data & Analytics leadership on both tactical and strategic decisions related to Tableau and data visualization.

• Guide junior team members and facilitate knowledge transfer regarding development best practices.

• Design and structure high-performance, maintainable, and scalable data visualization solutions.

• Lead cross-functional problem-solving discussions while considering stakeholder requirements.

• Provide project updates, escalate issues, communicate risks, and advocate for VizTeam interests in cross-functional project groups.

• Support management in employee development efforts, including training programs.

• Offer guidance and support to junior staff members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where applicable), or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• At least 8 years of experience in a related field.

• Knowledge of Facets and Healthcare Claims Processing is essential.

• Familiarity with CMS Guidelines.

• Strong understanding of FWA trends.

• Experience with Big Data.

• Proficient in Complex Data Analysis.

• Skilled in Data Analysis.

• Knowledgeable in Data Engineering.

• Experienced in Data Mining.

• Proficient with Data Modeling Techniques.

• Background in Data Science.

• Expertise in Data Visualization.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML).

• Experience in Predictive Analytics.

• Skilled in Predictive Modeling.

• Proficient in Python (Programming Language).

• Experienced in Statistical Analysis.

• Knowledge of Statistical Models.
