Power BI Developer – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.

• Construct and sustain semantic models, DAX measures, relationships, hierarchies, and calculation groups.

• Generate reports utilizing Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, and Direct Lake datasets.

• Enforce row-level and object-level security in accordance with Entra ID and workspace governance.

• Set up certified datasets, reusable semantic models, and standards for reporting.

• Improve report performance, data refresh rates, and capacity usage.

• Apply sensitivity labels and oversee the distribution of governed reports.

• Integrate reporting solutions with Microsoft 365 and Teams as necessary.

• Assist with deployment pipelines, source control, and lifecycle management.

• Keep report documentation, data dictionaries, and user enablement resources updated.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in application development, including practical BI analytics and Power BI development.

• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modeling.

• Familiarity with Power Query, dimensional modeling, and data transformation techniques.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Direct Lake.

• Understanding of row-level security, object-level security, and workspace governance.

• Experience with deployment pipelines, performance enhancement, and certified datasets.

• Excellent skills in data visualization, analytics, and problem-solving.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
