Power BI Developer – Mid-Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, manage, and enhance sophisticated dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Design and refine data models with DAX and Power Query.

• Connect Power BI with SQL Server, ERP systems, JSON, data lakes, and APIs.

• Build and sustain backend services utilizing .NET, C#, and/or VB.NET.

• Develop and integrate APIs to enable communication between applications and systems.

• Enhance SQL queries and boost data model efficiency.

• Play a role in the advancement of Business Intelligence solutions and new predictive analytics features.

• Record developments and collaborate with both technical and functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Business Intelligence and software solutions.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.

• Strong background in data modeling and sophisticated report design.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization techniques.

• Experience in backend development using .NET (C# and/or VB.NET).

• Proficient in developing, consuming, and integrating APIs.

• Familiarity with integrating Power BI with databases, ERP systems, and diverse data sources.

• Experience on projects that involve both Power BI and .NET backend development.

• Technical, technological, or professional education in software development or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Fabric, or Databricks (preferred).

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive analytics (preferred).

• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum (preferred).

• Background in ERP systems like SAP or Sage (preferred).

• Intermediate English proficiency (not a strict requirement).
