This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Engage and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, system objectives, and requirements.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications for data utilization and consumption.
• Offer expertise on suitable data platforms, repositories, and databases.
• Map data attributes across various domain models.
• Create, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mappings, diagrams, data models, and flowcharts for developers and testers.
• Implement and troubleshoot application data pipelines within both legacy and modern architectural settings, including application servers, queues, API gateways, databases, and cloud equivalents.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads, developers, the client solutions team, and client stakeholders.
• Actively participate as a contributor in agile/scrum ceremonies.
• Consult with clients to discuss and devise solutions.
• Review and enhance existing codebases and processes.
• Typically possesses over 5 years of diverse technical experience in designing and developing data pipelines and data stores.
• Proven experience in creating data architecture(s) for Business Intelligence and analytical purposes.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data mapping techniques.
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Marts.
• Proficiency with TFS, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSIS, and Power BI.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL.
• In-depth experience with both relational and non-relational database technologies, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, GraphQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgresSQL, Redis, ElastiCache, and more.
• Experience in ETL processes using tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Apache NiFi.
• Familiarity with a variety of data systems and performance tuning techniques.
• Understanding of architectural principles such as hub and spoke, bus, and event-driven software architectures.
• Working knowledge of Data Science technology stacks.
• Proficient understanding of BI data analytical products.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
• Strong capability to assess existing codebases and processes for improvement rather than starting anew.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in consulting.
• Working knowledge of Big Data on cloud platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, AWS, RDS Oracle, or RedShift.
• Experience in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to participate in both internal and external meetings via video calls as necessary.
• Willingness to work onsite at corporate or client offices when required.
• For positions that necessitate business travel and/or event participation, a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are mandatory.
