Primary Care Physician – Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual consultations across a diverse range of primary care requirements, encompassing acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health services.

• Cultivate strong patient relationships to enhance continuity of care.

• Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health experts, and consulting physicians to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and pursue ongoing learning through various modalities.

• Oversee one or more NP or PA colleagues within a virtual care team setting.

• Aid in the creation and refinement of workflows and best practices for virtual panel-building.

• Deliver comprehensive and ongoing management for a panel of new patients.

• Assist in broadening One Medical's virtual primary care presence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently licensed in WA, with the willingness and capability to obtain licensure in additional states as required.

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited residency program in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Have practiced in an outpatient primary care setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years.

• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with intentions to secure board certification within one year of starting with One Medical.

• Possess an active state medical license with a commitment to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical's virtual primary care services.

• Have experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.

• Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain patient relationships in a virtual environment.

• Exhibit a passion for patient-centered primary care.

• Possess the ability to effectively communicate with and provide care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Capable of utilizing technology effectively to deliver high-quality care.

• Clinically proficient in evidence-based primary care practices.

• Eager to be a key part of a team focused on transforming healthcare delivery.

• Open to receiving feedback and engaging in self-reflection to gain insights into strengths and areas for improvement.

• Able to navigate uncertain situations confidently with both patients and colleagues.

• Prepared to adjust personal and interpersonal behaviors to meet the needs of our patients.
