Primary Care Physician – Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual visits encompassing acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care.

• Foster robust relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health experts, and consulting physicians.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing educational opportunities.

• Supervise one or more Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) within a virtual care team.

• Contribute to the development of virtual panel-building workflows and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently licensed in the District of Columbia, with the willingness and capability to obtain licensure in additional states as necessary, including Maryland and Virginia.

• Must be enrolled in, or have successfully completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.

• Have practiced in an outpatient primary care environment for at least 2 of the last 5 years.

• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with a commitment to achieve board certification within one year of the start date.

• Hold an active state medical license with readiness to acquire additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical’s virtual primary care.

• Possess experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.

• Demonstrated capability to cultivate and maintain patient relationships in a virtual context.

• A strong passion for human-centered primary care.

• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Competence in utilizing technology to provide high-quality care.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care practices.

• Openness to receiving feedback and engaging in self-reflection.

• Skillful in navigating uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues.

• Ready to adapt behavior to align with patient needs.

• Authorized to work in the U.S., as verified through E-Verify.
