Primary Care Physician – Virtual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual consultations for acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care.

• Build strong relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing education.

• Supervise one or more Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) in a virtual care team.

• Create and refine workflows and best practices for virtual panel building.

• Manage a new patient panel through comprehensive and continuous primary care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently licensed in California, with a willingness and ability to obtain licensure in additional states as required.

• Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.

• Must have practiced in an outpatient primary care setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years.

• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with a plan to achieve board certification within one year of starting at One Medical.

• Active state medical license, with a willingness to acquire additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care.

• Experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain patient relationships in a virtual environment.

• Capable of communicating with and providing care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in utilizing technology to deliver high-quality care.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Open to feedback and self-reflection.

• Skilled in navigating uncertain situations with patients and colleagues.

• Willingness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.

• Authorized to work in the U.S., confirmed through E-Verify.
