Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual consultations for acute, chronic, preventive, and mental health care.

• Build strong relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate with virtual care teams, health coaches, behavioral health specialists, and consulting physicians.

• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing educational opportunities.

• Oversee one or more NP or PA colleagues as part of the virtual care team.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of virtual panel-building workflows and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a current medical license in MA, with the readiness and capability to acquire licensure in additional states as required.

• Must be enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited residency program in Internal or Family Medicine.

• Should have practiced in an outpatient primary care setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years.

• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with the intention to achieve board certification within one year of joining One Medical.

• Must possess an active state medical license and be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical's virtual primary care.

• Experience or a strong interest in telehealth and virtual care delivery is essential.

• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain patient relationships in a virtual environment.

• A strong passion for human-centered primary care.

• Ability to communicate effectively with and provide care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology to deliver high-quality care.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• A willingness to accept feedback and engage in self-reflection.

• Capability to navigate uncertain situations involving patients and colleagues.

• Preparedness to adapt behaviors to meet the needs of patients.
