Pricing and Rebates Analyst, Japanese Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee a high volume of customer rebates and promotional invoices, ensuring they are validated against the accruals tracker and processed in a timely manner.

• Accurately and promptly establish and modify rebates in SAP to avoid any queries.

• Generate insightful reports for the local business team.

• Build and sustain relationships with the Sales and Finance teams.

• Analyze and negotiate solutions for customer rebate audit inquiries.

• Assist in achieving month-end, quarter-end, and year-end business goals.

• Monitor customer rebate programs effectively.

• Calculate and confirm the appropriate monthly accruals in SAP S/4HANA ERP.

• Set customer pricing in SAP after review by the Pricing and Rebates Manager.

• Collaborate with Finance during pre-month-end Strip Net Sales review meetings to ensure accurate accrual numbers are reflected and calculated.

• Manage the flow of discount-recognition data, including monitoring volume and claim files.

• Aid in the development of reporting tools for discount recognition and analysis.

• Receive and validate discount invoices.

• Proficient in both Japanese and English, both spoken and written.

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in a Rebates role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential.

• A collaborative team player with strong conflict management abilities.

• Adaptable, flexible, and resilient.

• Proficient in IT, including MS Office and Google applications.

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.

• Positive attitude and a “can do” mindset.
