Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP – Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver thorough mental health medication management through initial intake and ongoing follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments and evaluations for psychiatric medications.

• Administer continuous medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centric treatment plans and document recommendations for treatment.

• Communicate with patients while prescribing and overseeing psychiatric medications.

• Ensure safe, evidence-based medication treatment in accordance with clinical best-practice guidelines.

• Provide care for children, adolescents, and young adults with diverse needs, diagnoses, complexities, and levels of severity.

• Refer patients to therapy and coaching services that are evidence-based.

• Offer culturally sensitive care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from a CCNE-accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in Pennsylvania.

• Have at least 2 years of practical experience.

• Must possess office space suitable for seeing clients.

• Capable of providing care across a broad spectrum of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who hold an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Preference for providers who can offer in-person services.
