Presales Systems Engineer – HPE Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Acquire technical expertise across the HPE Networking portfolio, which includes Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation.

• Collaborate with sales teams to comprehend customer requirements and design effective networking solutions.

• Present technical demonstrations and presentations.

• Develop architectures and proposals that align with customer goals.

• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Engage in advanced training programs and pursue certifications.

• Coordinate with internal teams and partners to ensure successful solution positioning and adoption.

• Contribute to the growth of HPE Networking business within SLED and enterprise clientele.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in networking infrastructure.

• Previous experience as a networking Systems Engineer or in a similar capacity.

• Desired experience in networking design, installation, services, and support.

• Background in government (state, local, federal), higher education, K12, enterprise, and service provider sectors.

• Familiarity with network design principles and protocols.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates must either reside in the greater Ohio area or be open to traveling to customer sites within the greater Ohio region.

• Preference for candidates with an understanding of SLED and enterprise environments and procurement processes.

• Interest in network automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud-managed networking is preferred.
