Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst – Epic Referrals Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Implement, modify, test, and manage revenue cycle system applications.

• Develop, test, and sustain Epic Revenue Cycle modules, Claims Manager, interfaces, and billing processes.

• Act as a liaison among vendors, IT staff, application analysts, management, and end users.

• Evaluate end-user requirements and suggest modifications to systems, procedures, and designs.

• Create standard, customized, ad hoc, and application report templates.

• Conduct analytical tasks, documentation, testing, final analysis, and collaborative testing.

• Maintain revenue cycle parameters and reference tables, enhancement logs, and related system information.

• Serve as the initial point of contact for revenue cycle end-user system concerns.

• Investigate, document, and facilitate issue resolution while providing ongoing application support.

• Review, research, test, and implement system updates and user maintenance across various systems.

• Support third-party billing charge files and master files.

• Research and utilize third-party software to develop programming logic that underpins operational processes.

• Prepare reference materials and assist in creating training documentation.

• Offer 24/7 support and engage in on-call duties, including early morning and evening hours.

• Comply with and enforce Carle Foundation administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Epic Referrals.

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Epic certification to be obtained within 2 months.

• Experience in the revenue cycle field.

• Thorough understanding of revenue cycle billing systems.

• Solid grasp of project planning methodologies.

• General knowledge of CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.

• Ability to provide support in 24/7 environments and handle on-call responsibilities.

• Willingness to accommodate occasional weekend and holiday shifts.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
