Presales Systems Engineer – HPE Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Acquire technical expertise across the HPE Networking portfolio, which includes Aruba wired/wireless solutions, ClearPass, Central, as well as Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation.

• Collaborate with sales teams to grasp customer requirements, devise solutions, and present technical demonstrations and presentations.

• Develop architectures and proposals that align with customer goals.

• Lead activities related to proof-of-concept.

• Engage in advanced training initiatives and obtain certifications.

• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure effective positioning and adoption of solutions.

• Contribute to the growth of the HPE Networking business within SLED and enterprise clientele.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in networking infrastructure.

• Previous experience in a role such as a networking Systems Engineer or a comparable position.

• Desired experience in networking design, installation, services, and support.

• Background in government (state, local, federal), higher education, K12, enterprise, and service provider sectors.

• Familiarity with network design principles and protocols.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates must either reside in the greater Ohio area or be willing to travel to customer locations within that region.

• Preferred understanding of SLED and Enterprise environments along with procurement processes.

• An interest in network automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud-managed networking is preferred.
