Presales Systems Engineer, HPE Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of the HPE Networking division, which includes Aruba and Juniper Networks.

• Acquire technical expertise in Aruba wired/wireless technologies, ClearPass, Central, and Juniper's switching, routing, security, and automation solutions.

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements and design effective solutions.

• Present and demonstrate technical concepts to clients.

• Develop architectures and proposals that align with the objectives of customers.

• Oversee proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Engage in advanced training programs and obtain relevant certifications.

• Coordinate with internal teams and partners to guarantee successful solution positioning and adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in networking infrastructure.

• Previous role as a networking Systems Engineer or in a comparable position.

• Desired experience in networking design, installation, services, and support.

• Background in government (state, local, federal), higher education, K12, enterprise, and service provider sectors.

• Knowledge of network design principles and protocols.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates should be residing in the greater Ohio area or be open to traveling to customer locations within the greater Ohio region.

• Preferred understanding of SLED and enterprise environments and their procurement processes.

• Interest in network automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud-managed networking is preferred.
