Presales Service Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive managed service solutions and future operating models from start to finish.

• Establish service management, support, governance, transition, and transformation strategies.

• Facilitate customer discovery sessions and conduct service design workshops.

• Create content for bids, service narratives, proposals, and executive-level presentations.

• Develop resource models, operational assumptions, service cost frameworks, and risk evaluations.

• Collaborate with teams across technical, delivery, commercial, finance, legal, and security domains.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to customer needs, contractual obligations, security standards, regulatory requirements, and governance protocols.

• Assist in operational readiness, service mobilization, assurance, and ongoing improvement efforts.

• Convert customer specifications into detailed service models encompassing transition, operations, governance, performance, and continuous improvement.

• Connect customers with technical architects, delivery teams, commercial departments, and service management groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing intricate end-to-end managed service and outsourcing solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles with experience in developing service operating models, governance structures, support frameworks, and service-level agreements.

• Experience in defining strategies for service transition, mobilization, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.

• Capability to support complex proposals through service costing, resource modeling, risk assessment, proposal crafting, and solution presentations.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and workshop leadership abilities.

• Background in Central Government, Local Government, Defence, Financial Services, Utilities, Healthcare, Retail, or other commercial sectors.

• Familiarity with SIAM, DevOps, Agile methodologies, product-centric delivery, and multi-supplier operational models.

• Experience in designing services across cloud, infrastructure, applications, security, and digital workplace settings.

• Certifications in ITIL, SIAM, TOGAF, PRINCE2, MSP, COBIT, Agile, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.

• Experience contributing to contractual schedules, statements of work, service-level agreements, and responsibility assignment matrices.

• Must be UK-based.

• Should possess or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance for work with UK public sector entities.
