Pre-Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Configure Uniguest platforms to align with the business requirements of prospects in partnership with design, technical, and sales teams.

• Collaborate directly with end-clients and resellers to brainstorm, develop, and present solutions for designated projects.

• Visualize, model, and deliver initial prototypes and UX/UI designs for assessment.

• Define and document technical architecture, encompassing deployment specifics and integrations with other platforms and applications.

• Identify and record business and stakeholder requirements for key strategic projects.

• Develop solution maps customized to client requirements, including APIs and interfaces.

• Collaborate with Commercial teams on product positioning, technical specifications, and statements of work for proposals and contracts.

• Assist sales teams throughout the sales cycle to enhance project conversion rates.

• Partner with Professional Services on integration initiatives between Uniguest and its clients.

• Serve as the system architect for client UX/UI integration efforts when diagrams are necessary.

• Respond to RFPs and RFIs as a member of the bid team.

• Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and convey Uniguest’s values and unique selling points.

• Provide support for small, ad hoc UX/UI projects for live clients.

• Aid in the training and certification of channel partners.

• Keep abreast of Uniguest product capabilities and technical architecture.

• Track hospitality and technology industry trends and relay Uniguest’s modern technological advantages.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with web API integrations.

• Previous experience or familiarity with one or more major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Visual design skills to create graphics and menus that meet end-client expectations.

• Solid understanding of HTTP core concepts, authentication methods, and formal data structures.

• Experience in UI/UX implementation using HTML/CSS or other technologies is a plus.

• Proven technological proficiency.

• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail along with analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Positive, service-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
