Practicante SST – Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, aimed at preventing and protecting the health of workers while ensuring compliance with Decree 1072 of 2015 and Resolution 0312.

• Support Occupational Health and Safety processes, encompassing the promotion and prevention of physical and mental well-being, as well as minimizing workplace accidents and occupational diseases.

• Monitor training sessions, events, and talks related to the Occupational Health and Safety program.

• Document Occupational Health and Safety activities and maintain organized records.

• Facilitate the use of virtual tools for ergonomic and safety inspections.

• Manage and schedule meetings with COPASST, the Workplace Coexistence Committee, and the Emergency Brigade.

• Update documentation for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with regulatory or internal changes.

• Execute and monitor the active break program, including documentation and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technology degree in Occupational Health and Safety.

• Knowledge of Decree 1072 of 2015 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

• Familiarity with Resolution 0312 of 2019 - Minimum Standards of the SG-SST.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.

• Basic English proficiency, level B1.1.

• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety documentation and records.

• Knowledge of committee management: COPASST, Workplace Coexistence Committee, and Brigades.

• Familiarity with ergonomic and safety inspections.

• Strong skills in assertive communication, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, proactivity, and active listening.
