PR Manager – B2B Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee PR client accounts from strategic planning to execution.

• Identify noteworthy stories and engaging media angles arising from company updates, product launches, industry advancements, and market trends.

• Develop targeted media lists tailored to each client's industry and goals.

• Create and implement media outreach and pitching strategies.

• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, reporters, and other relevant media contacts.

• Achieve high-quality earned media coverage in prestigious and top-tier publications.

• Collaborate with founders, executives, journalists, and internal teams to craft compelling narratives.

• Keep track of news and industry trends for timely PR opportunities.

• Monitor PR results and link media coverage to business, brand, and pipeline goals.

• Handle multiple client accounts and campaigns while upholding communication and execution excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, or Communications, ideally within B2B technology.

• Proven track record of obtaining earned media coverage in respected publications.

• Strong comprehension of how journalists and editors assess pitches and stories.

• Established journalist/media relationships or the ability to quickly cultivate new connections.

• Skill in identifying compelling stories and angles from technical or standard company information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of independently managing client relationships and overseeing PR campaigns from inception to completion.

• Results-driven mindset focused on the quality and business impact of media coverage.

• Experience in FinTech, B2B SaaS, HealthTech, HR Tech, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence, or Cybersecurity is highly preferred.
