PR Consultant – Remote, Berlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational support to clients from diverse industries, typically collaborating in teams of two to three.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, heads of communications, and in-house PR managers.

• Create innovative and editorially robust PR narratives.

• Customize pitches of PR narratives to journalists.

• Actively utilize the internal AI resources for research, pitch development, and topic exploration.

• Operate with defined KPIs while maintaining daily media interactions.

• Offer close client assistance to meet communication goals.

• Establish and nurture relationships with journalists in key DACH and European media outlets.

• Conduct targeted phone pitches to pertinent journalists across a wide media range.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in operational public relations.

• Demonstrated success in independently securing placements for companies in major leading media outlets.

• Strong comprehension of the media landscape and the capability to distill complex topics into concise journalistic stories.

• Experience in both strategic and operational management of personal clients.

• Well-established network of journalist contacts.

• Active surveillance of the news landscape with the ability to discern topic potential.

• Independent work style coupled with a readiness to collaborate and share knowledge openly.

• Practical application of AI tools to streamline processes.

• Proficiency in German at C2 level.

• Professional communication skills in English.

• Residing in Germany.
