PowerApps Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop PowerApps canvas and model-driven applications.

• Create enterprise-level mobile solutions adhering to industry best practices within the Power Platform community.

• Utilize out-of-the-box connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate, and ideally, develop custom connectors.

• Revamp and re-engineer existing legacy applications into PowerApps solutions.

• Employ innovative approaches for system design and functionality enhancements.

• Analyze and create database models, including MySQL and SQL Server structures.

• Identify and address security vulnerabilities within PowerApps.

• Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards seamlessly into PowerApps.

• Fulfill requirements, adhere to agreed deadlines, and conduct unit and integration testing.

• Communicate design proposals and project progress to customers, team leads, and colleagues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including app development, IT operations, and information security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Completion of training and/or certification as a PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer.

• Training and/or certification for Microsoft Flow.

• 3–5 years of experience in development within Dynamics 365.

• 3–5 years of experience crafting canvas and model-driven PowerApps with an appealing user experience.

• 3–5 years of experience developing Forms and Flows that transfer data from Forms to AzureDevOps.

• 3–5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.

• Experience in developing solutions that leverage multiple Office365 services, such as SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, OneNote, and OneDrive.

• Familiarity with integrating PowerApps with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST services.

• Experience in migrating InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer workflows to PowerApps and Flow.

• Strong multitasking abilities and capability to manage competing priorities effectively.

• Solid understanding of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and their features.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment.

• SQL knowledge is an asset.

• Comprehensive understanding of PowerApps formulas and development techniques for both canvas and model-driven applications.

• Capability to estimate workload and meet scheduled timelines.

• Proficiency in Agile project methodologies.

• Understanding of implementing solutions that utilize multiple data sources.

• Knowledge of data gateway installation and configuration.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.

• Must pass drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.

• Must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years.

• Cannot have traveled outside the United States for more than 6 months in the past five years; military service is excluded.
