Power Platform/RPA Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, implement, and sustain Power Automate workflows and bots.

• Create and manage Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven solutions.

• Deliver 15–20 new Power Automate bots and 4–8 new Power Apps each year in production.

• Design, develop, and support Power Pages web solutions.

• Design and implement Copilot Studio AI assistants and chatbot solutions.

• Collaborate with business units, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

• Convert business processes into scalable technical use cases and solutions.

• Plan and execute testing, debugging, User Acceptance Testing, and deployment.

• Develop APIs, custom connectors, and integrate with enterprise systems.

• Track development progress through Agile Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks using approved ALM tools.

• Uphold security, privacy, compliance, governance, and performance standards.

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, enhancements, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Create solution documentation, workflow diagrams, knowledge base articles, manuals, training materials, and end-user documentation.

• Identify automation opportunities and offer technical guidance on best practices for the Power Platform.

• Provide occasional support outside of core hours and on weekends, anticipated no more than once per quarter.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS degree and 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform; 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.

• Experience in designing and deploying RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop and cloud flows.

• Proficiency in developing and deploying Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

• Experience with the design, development, and customization of Power Pages.

• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio for creating and implementing AI-powered assistants and chatbots.

• Strong knowledge of API development, custom connectors, and integration with enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Proficiency in ALM tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and other enterprise data sources.

• Understanding of security, data privacy, compliance, and governance standards within the Power Platform ecosystem.

• Experience in developing technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.

• Preferred Microsoft certifications include PL-200, PL-400, PL-500, PL-900, or AI-900.

• Power BI experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with responsive web design and accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 is preferred.

• Experience supporting Citizen Developer programs and end-user training initiatives is preferred.

• Government or experience in highly regulated enterprises is preferred.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Liquid templating is preferred.

• Experience with Azure AI Services and LLM integrations within Copilot Studio is preferred.

• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and analytics platforms is preferred.
