Power Platform Functional Architecture Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive functional design, which includes process design, data modeling, security modeling, and compatibility with client systems.

• Assess whether requirements are satisfied through configuration, extension, or modifications to client processes, and clarify trade-offs in business language.

• Define the integration strategy in collaboration with the Technical Architecture Advisor across Dynamics 365, ERP, HR, and reporting systems.

• Contribute to strategies regarding the environment and release management.

• Evaluate consultant designs and configurations to ensure compliance with established standards.

• Develop and present solution strategies for proposals and responses to RFPs.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and demonstrations of solutions.

• Specify and estimate project scope while monitoring estimates throughout the delivery process.

• Lead workshops focused on business processes and requirements gathering.

• Advise clients on the capabilities and limitations of the platform.

• Add value to analysis and design methodologies and accelerators.

• Configure Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, including model-driven applications, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio agents.

• Monitor solution design throughout delivery, managing scope and change effectively.

• Establish testing strategies and acceptance criteria for deployment and acceptance phases.

• Identify client training requirements and assist in enhancing Microsoft platform capabilities through mentoring and internal training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of functional consulting experience with Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.

• Design authority on a minimum of three full-lifecycle Dynamics 365 implementations from proposal phase to go-live within a consulting environment.

• In-depth expertise in at least one Dynamics 365 application area, along with a working knowledge of others, such as Customer Engagement or Project Operations.

• Practical experience with Copilot Studio agents and Copilot in Dynamics 365, including a solid understanding of optimal use cases and limitations.

• Familiarity with Dataverse, covering data models, security models, and environment and solution management.

• Understanding of the Azure ecosystem related to Dynamics 365 solutions, including Entra ID, integration services, and fundamental data platform concepts.

• Knowledge of Power Platform governance and security, encompassing environment strategies, Data Loss Prevention policies, and the Power Platform admin center.

• Capability to facilitate intricate discussions, align stakeholders on solution directions, and articulate design choices to executives, delivery teams, and developers.

• Proficiency in English.

• Proficiency in French.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or Software Engineering (preferred qualification).

• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as AB-100, AB-731, AB-900, MB-280, or PL-600 (preferred qualification).

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Purview, or similar technologies (preferred qualification).

• Experience in public sector delivery that necessitates Government of Canada security clearance (preferred qualification).
