Power BI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and deliver contemporary reporting solutions that support daily business functions, program leadership, and analytical projects.

• Extract data from BigQuery-based data marts and distribute it through authorized agency channels.

• Act as the technical lead for the Power BI development team.

• Offer mentoring, guidance on best practices, and coordination across different program areas.

• Collaborate with business partners, data engineers, and ETL developers to guarantee precise data sourcing from BigQuery data marts.

• Generate visually appealing, accessible, and standardized reports that adhere to agency reporting and accessibility standards.

• Ensure that Power BI assets comply with governance, security, and documentation protocols.

• Conduct testing and validation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across reporting products.

• Work with stakeholders to collect requirements, confirm data elements, and meet enterprise reporting demands.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and support materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise setting — 5 years required.

• Proficiency with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools — 5 years required.

• Demonstrated ability to act as a Technical Lead for a team of four or more developers — 5 years required.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively addressing both technical and non-technical audiences — 5 years required.

• Strong grasp of data models, data visualization best practices, and enterprise reporting standards — 5 years required.
