This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of dealer clients throughout North Alabama and the Tennessee/Mississippi border.
• Enhance clients' utilization of lines of credit that range from $50,000 to $2,500,000.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on floor plans for assigned clients.
• Interact with clients in-person or virtually to meet company objectives and performance benchmarks.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to boost revenue, optimize profitability, manage growth, and reduce risk.
• Provide education and coaching to clients on performance behaviors, self-service options, best practices, policies, and expectations.
• Gather and evaluate client financial data, reports, and dashboards.
• Discover growth opportunities and identify clients experiencing financial challenges using historical data and company resources.
• Partner with Risk and Recovery teams on pre-default risk management and post-default collection activities.
• Aim to minimize losses and maximize recoveries on defaulted accounts.
• Conduct on-site inventory inspections, audits, repossessions, and quality-control procedures as required.
• Detect and report any client or internal non-compliance, fraud, and other situations that necessitate company protection.
• Record conversations, activities, and client interactions in Salesforce.
• Complete necessary Salesforce campaigns.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients while ensuring a positive client experience.
• Build cross-functional business relationships and opportunities within Cox Automotive.
• Travel to meet clients at least 60% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
• BA/BS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, client-facing roles, B2B, account management, and/or collections.
• Alternatively, a combination of a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Background in the automotive and/or floor plan industry is strongly preferred.
• Financial knowledge and acumen are preferred.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry.
• Understanding of the finance industry.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with a working knowledge of key financial tools and terminology.
• Capability to identify risk indicators using data tools.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, negotiation, collection, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting.
• Capacity to maintain safety awareness and follow necessary safety measures.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce.
• Willingness to visit clients at least 60% of the time, with occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
