This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead the construction delivery process for a range of EV charging, BESS, and edge compute projects from the stage of being construction-ready to becoming energized and fully operational.

• Receive build-ready sites from the Development team and initiate construction promptly.

• Select, contract, and oversee general contractors, EPCs, and specialized subcontractors.

• Manage construction budgets, timelines, quality, and safety across the entire portfolio.

• Coordinate utility construction, inspections, commissioning, and the process for energization/permission to operate.

• Handle change orders, address field challenges, and eliminate obstacles to maintain project schedules.

• Prepare each project for a seamless transition to the operations and Customer Success teams.

• Provide actual installed-cost data to help establish a repeatable unit-cost installation model.

• Develop a substantial portfolio of over 100 sites comprising BESS, edge compute, and EV charging projects.

• Report directly to the Director of Project Execution.

• Guide projects through inspection, commissioning, and energization until they reach operational status.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in managing the construction of infrastructure, energy, or electrical projects, including oversight of general contractors and subcontractors.

• Experience in controlling construction budgets and schedules for multiple simultaneous projects.

• Background in project management within construction and/or engineering settings.

• Preferred: Experience in delivering EV charging, BESS, solar, or edge compute/data center construction projects.

• Preferred: Familiarity with utility construction coordination, inspections, commissioning, and energization/permission to operate (PTO).

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with permitting authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).

• Preferred: Knowledge of project management and field software such as Procore and Bluebeam.

• Preferred: Understanding of construction safety protocols (OSHA) and/or PMP or an equivalent certification.
