Platform Engineer – Cloud Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Implement, integrate, and provide support for cloud platform environments utilizing OpenStack and containerized solutions tailored for telecommunications clients.

• Conduct platform installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operational support from deployment through to production.

• Investigate and resolve incidents using JIRA, collaborating with global teams to ensure uninterrupted service continuity.

• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Monitor platform performance and system health with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and participate in delivery planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting within cloud environments.

• Proficiency in working with OpenStack, containers, and cloud platform deployments.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Experience in Ansible automation, configuration management, and operational support activities.

• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experienced Professionals experience level.
