Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage production Kubernetes infrastructure.

• Oversee AWS infrastructure across various environments and customer implementations.

• Establish dependable CI/CD pipelines and automate processes for deployments, rollbacks, and environment setup.

• Enhance observability, reliability, scalability, and security throughout the platform.

• Troubleshoot production issues related to Kubernetes, networking, databases, and applications.

• Create tools that enable engineers to deliver features more rapidly with reduced infrastructure overhead.

• Collaborate directly with customer infrastructure and security teams on enterprise-level deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production settings is essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or a related field.

• Extensive experience with AWS is required.

• In-depth understanding of Docker, Linux, networking, DNS, HTTP/TLS, and cloud security.

• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging production incidents.

• Capability to independently manage infrastructure challenges from start to finish.

• Experience with EKS, Helm, Argo CD, or comparable tools.

• Proven experience in deploying applications within customer-controlled cloud environments.

• Knowledge of enterprise security or compliance standards.

• Experience operating real-time, voice, or AI workloads.
